ABANG OF INJUSTICE
Okon Abang will forever be foisted on the inglorious alleys of history as the judge who massacred justice by defiantly crowning Rochas okorocha the winner of Imo-West Senatorial districts, Imo state, after professor Innocent Ibeawuchi, the Returning Officer who presided over the election in Orlu Local Government complained having declared Rochas a winner under duress. Disgraceful and appalling is the fact so called men of justice such as Abang, with such bastardized conscience have willingly enrolled themselves in the ever growing army of fantastically corrupt and morally debased fellows, armed with the weapon of toxic greed against the common man.
The tale of how the darling Mr Rochas became a greed-thirsty beast in the seat of gubernatorial power and inflicted untold hardship upon the people under his rulership is a classic example of the modus operandi of the corrupt elites presently in power in Nigeria.
To the right of Rochas' geographical empire is Orji Uzor Kalu another fantastically corrupt fellow roaming the hallways of politics since 1999 to salvage relevance and renew immunity. Kalu's 2019 Senatorial ambition was recently hit hard by a laudable judgment from Justice P. C. Igwe led election tribunal nullifying the election and ordering a re-run.
Faithful and upright judgements as these enormously help to cast a glimmer of hope upon the gloomy clouds of injustice hovering over Nigeria's judiciary.
Justice must prevail!
