COVID-19 EXPOSES THE SELFISHNESS AND INSENSITIVITY OF THE NIGERIAN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TO THE PLIGHT OF NIGERIANS

It is clearly regrettable and totally absurd, that in the face of the ravaging pandemic covid-19, ravishing the entire human population, when rational leaders of the world, with concerted efforts are protecting the lives of their citizens, stepping down all other luxurious affairs, the Nigerian National Assembly are busy sharing themselves exotic vehicles. What a shame, what an act of wickedness.

Pandemics like the present covid-19 are issues that concerns every class of persons and therefore require quick proactive and correctionary measures to stop or contain the spread. The overall well-being of the nation state is affected and held to ransom if unchecked.

But instead of looking beyond the immediate, by pushing for the nation to have multiple well equiped isolation centers, distribution of drugs and welfare kit for the citizens incase of a complete lock down as is the present case, the Nigerian National Assembly were all driven by their aggrandizement and parochial interest in exotic vehicles. Black men with black and wicked mentality. What a bizarre misplacement of priority.

The National Assembly of progressive countries, including some African countries, joined strong forces with their Ministry of Health in the welfare of their citizens against the covid-19 pandemic, but their Nigerian counterparts remain in visible insensitivity. What a woeful disposition?

Many responsible and magnanimous nigerians have been making serious an soul-touching donations to the tone of billions, yet the national assembly are blighted and depraved of conscience.

This act of the Nigerian National Assembly is totally condemned. This is a typical example of enthronement of wickedness, as though their sensory organs have all exacerbated.

Nigerians, resign to faith in God as your leaders are but shadows of reality.
